Our Story

The word Alchemist has a rich history tied to many early Greek scholars. It is only fitting that our journey started in the Greek island of Zakynthos, where we learnt the craft of Mixology.

The early Alchemists were able to create gold from almost anything, and since then, the definition of the word Alchemist has formed into “a person who creates something through a seemingly magical process”. We do this by creating our own liquid gold in the form of cocktails.

Alchemist Mixology is a bespoke and portable premium bar service. We specialise in setting up stunning cocktail bars all over New Zealand.

From creating your own cocktail menu right through to décor and design of the bar, we make your dream bar come to life.

After moving back to New Zealand from Europe, we found there is little in the way of beverage choices, most places offering just Craft Beer and Wine.

We offer a different kind of experience, beautiful cocktails that leave a lasting impression on your event.
